Phillips Homes primarily focuses on acquiring well-located parcels to construct subdivisions of 1 to 30 homes.  Generally, we seek "in-fill" development parcels within existing neighborhoods which offer good access to services, high-ranking schools, freeways and recreational amenities. Our geographic area includes Salt Lake, Davis, Summit and Wasatch Counties.

We specialize in semi-custom and custom homes ranging in value from $300,000 to well over $1 million. Our home designs feature timeless architecture with modern features; yet we design with cost-effectiveness and overall housing value in mind.  We offer pre-designed plans from award-winning designers or we will draw purely custom homes for unique lots.

Yes. In addition to the neighborhoods we develop, Phillips Homes also offers on-your-lot building services. Whether it's a tear-down, city lot or rural development, we can build on-your-lot. And, if you're searching for a lot, Phillips Real Estate can help you find one.

Phillips Homes is a Utah based business with successful operations since 2004.  Owners John and Andrea Phillips are second-generation home builders, with over 25 years experience and are committed to building Utah's future.

Phillips Homes is small by design. We do not try to be the biggest builder in the marketplace. Rather, we seek to acquire the best locations and maintain close, hands-on management with every home we build. We realize that may not be the most profitable business structure, but for our customers and us, it’s the most rewarding.

Yes. Phillips Homes offers a leading limited warranty with every home we build.

Many of our customers need to sell their home sometime during the construction period. Phillips Real Estate specializes in helping our customers sell their existing home.

We generally work on a 20-week build-out program.  So, depending on the complexity of your home, you should plan on moving into your new custom home approximately 5 months after we start construction.

Phillips Homes will provide construction financing for neighborhoods which we develop. For on-your-lot projects, our customers secure their own construction and permanent financing. We have excellent relationships with several preferred lenders who offer great rates and programs.

Since every home we build is different, we prefer to offer you detailed specifications and budget information so you can compare apples-to-apples.  However, we combine all our skills in custom home building with our production building background to deliver the best overall housing value.

There are a number of variables to consider including if you are purchasing your own lot, including demolition, utilities, grading, import/export, impact fees, etc. We are happy to review your lot on a preliminary basis and offer you an opinion of possible costs.
